Geysers of Yellowstone
The geysers of Yellowstone were breath taking. No where else in the world (apart from Iceland maybe) does such an occurrence exist.
Hot water springs erupt from seemingly random places. Some are just simmering, others erupt high into the air. Some every 90 minutes (like Old Faithful) others maybe every 100 years.
The hot water allows for some plants to remain green all year round. In other instances it seems to have killed off all life in its path.
I could sit and watch them all day. You soon get used to the eggy sulphur smell they give off.
