Longing for freedom.
When Archie arrived I promised myself that I would go easy on the blipping of him and not saturate my journal with kitten pictures. But this one I couldn't resist. His little face seemed so full of longing to go out and play that I let him have a supervised 5 minutes in the garden he would have had longer but next doors car scared him and he shot in at a rate of knots. Good to know when panicked he headed in the right direction.
Jack and Erin have been eating machines today and seem to be constantly asking for food, if they were still babies I would say thaey are having a growth spurt. Do toddlers still have them? Jack also frustratingly has wet himself about 5 times today, when I asked why he is not using the toilet he just tells me about the fact he has wet and doesn't say why. Gonna spend the rest of the day asking him like when we first stopped nappies in the hope of stopping it, I can't bear anymore wet clothes!!!!
Ooo on an exciting note (well for me anyway) when I came back from cleaning up Jack, Erin was in the garden talking over the wall to a lady about our vegetable patch that we planted together and telling her what we had. It turns out the lady is one of the judges for the local carnival small garden competition. This year they have added veg patches and she asked why I wasn't entered and asked me to. She took my details there and then. Don't know wether they are short on entries or she was really impressed. Would be nice though if we came somewhere but it looked a bit of a mess today I thought, maybe Erin charmed her.
