Saved from a fate worse than death

This poor wee critter was spotted malingering in the door to the chicken hoosie...he has launched himself, without much sucess, from the nest above in the eaves.

Luckily my youngest spotted him before any of the cats, so we have popped him onto the kitchen windowsill where he is cheeping away whilst his parents and siblings swoop about and cheep back at him

Am not sure what we shall do if he is still there at bedtime....maybe MrC&D will have to go borrow ladders from our neighbour and pop our little adventurer back into the nest??
