Peak District - Chatsworth House Grounds

After what was a rather wet day yesterday, we decided to return to Chatsworth to enjoy one of the circular walks in the rather extensive grounds. When I say grounds, I really mean half of England!

Today was probably my favourite day not just because it was the best day weather wise we had had, but because the walk took in everything ..... fields with sheep, river, country lanes, moorland, lakes, hills, farmland. Views were stunning.

After it, we decided we had earned a cream tea in the stable courtyard - MP got to lick out the tub of clotted cream, just to make sure none was wasted!

A fabby day!
