Blue Milkweed Beetle on Milkweed Blossoms

This is my absolute favorite beetle--because of the color, I guess. Since I discovered them about five years ago, I look for them on milkweed plants. I haven't found them every year. I have yet to get a really good photograph of one of them, but I keep trying. You will probably see more attempts in the next few days.
