Art in Town III
"Most people can look back over the years and identify a time and place at which their lives changed significantly. Whether by accident or design, these are the moments when, because of a readiness within us and a collaboration with events occurring around us, we are forced to seriously reappraise ourselves and the conditions under which we live and to make certain choices that will affect the rest of our lives."
~Frederick F. Flack
It was a day full of dealing in excruicating detail with things that shouldn't have been that complicated. Thus, I chose a rather gray horse to represent the gray day I had - weather included. The previous two are here and here.
Volleyball in the evening was good - had drinks and talked with friends, which was a tonic after the rest of the day's chaos. Strangely, after I left the bar I found myself in a state that I had eluded for quite a while: I longed to have someone special. After almost two years of the single life, this was the first blip on the radar not caused by proximity to a tempting person or despair over the relationship I lost.
I think something important just happened, but I have no idea what to do or what it means. Perhaps, as Mr. Flack explains, I just had a "moment", enigmatic as it presently seems...
