A visitor

I went up to allotment earlier to try to establish a base camp in the jungle. There was so much produce waiting to be picked that I didn't get as much done as I'd have liked. Still, it was very cheering to come across this beautiful visitor having a little rest beside a rocket plant.

Later on we were back across the Links to join in the celebrations for Malc's 50th. There were several impromptu football matches outside; Stan is trying to perfect the art of diving and then shouting "Referee!" in aggrieved tones. Afterwards there was a selection of beer, wine, stovies, kebabs, cake etc to be had indoors, and a good time was had by all.
