Day Two: South Korea
Backblip #2
The time difference between our home and South Korea was quite extensive, so we woke up really, really early. We headed out to walk around Incheon to find food and anything else interesting. Our flight wasn't until later in the afternoon, so we had lots of time to wander through town.
Our breakfast was awesome. For only $11 U.S., I had the most wonderful soup, the boys had an egg/rice dish, and my husband had a pork dish (I think). We picked out our dishes from pictures on the wall. When we entered the restaurant, the waitress was immediately stressed by our presence. I'm pretty sure it was because she was scared that she didn't know English.
We kept walking and checking out little stores here and there. Many items are much cheaper than here in the U.S. I even tried to find a lens, but apparently Nikon has the market in South Korea. Lunch was an amazing adventure. We found a small restaurant where you sit on the floor, so the table is only about a foot high. The waitress just picked what we were to eat, which turned out to be yummy of course. I had the most incredible kimchee soup, while our pork roasted on the grill right in front of us. The waitress came and showed us how to eat our meal fortunately. :)
We then headed back to the hotel to give the boys a quick nap before our plane ride to Fiji.
This shot is of some little girls who had gotten out of school and were chatting back and forth and giggling. My oldest was trying to talk to them, but they were shy and didn't know English.
