Screw loose

We were beginning to doubt the wisdom of DIY today. The scaffolding was too wobbly, the plasterboard too big to put anywhere to cut properly, and everything was too heavy and the wrong shape.

But there was duck for dinner and an exciting Doctor Who to watch. So not all bad.

I did learn (not the hard way, thankfully) why you don't stand under the scaffolding. This Ikea stool wasn't so lucky. Happily I was also not in the way when the drill fell. And even more happily, nothing and no-one has fallen through the stained glass window yet.
