The Beechwood

This area near to our village is known as the beechwood and although within a mile of our house I hadn't been near it for maybe fifteen years. As it was such a pleasant afternoon I decided on a walk and landed up there. Used to take the children here to play and I remember that some of the beech trees, right down at ground level had little doors painted on them. The homes of little elves and fairies. A magical place. Such happy memories.
