Penguin One

Today we went to the Antwerp Zoo. This Zoo was established 1843 and is one of the oldest zoos in the world. It was originally built just outside the city walls and therefore it is now located in the heart of Antwerp, next door to the Central Station.

The Zoo has 950 different species and around 5000 animals in total. Of course I couldn't resist the temptation to present you with a picture of a... Penguin! :) As you can see he just had a little swim, but posed willingly for a while in the sun!
