Toxomeris oxidentalis (Edit)

I haven't had time to research this little fellow yet. Maybe I can add an addendum later. It was hard to choose my blip this evening as I had several to choose from for a change--all insects.

I loaded Lightroom onto my new computer and finished customizing it today. That took an incredible amount of time, as Adobe insisted that I needed the serial number of my original Lightroom 1.0 to finish up. Then I customized the screens and played with my dual screens in Lightroom, which work incredibly and were worth all the trouble.

Later I discovered the caterpillar I had found on Friday had turned into a chrysalis. The trouble is, I had put him in a jar while I researched what it might be, and he has morphed in the jar, so I probably won't be able to get a decent picture of it. But I'm very excited to think he might emerge a a butterfly (possibly a swallowtail) in a couple of weeks.

All in all, it was a very good day!
