Discarded

I'll explain the photo shortly.

We had an electrician in today to fix the broken plug socket in the kitchen and the socket that sparks at us. When he arrived, it turned out he was one of the two guys that did our boiler. They're a great firm and he only charged us for his time as the sockets were some he had kicking around in the van.

Shortly after, a guy came to measure the windows to give us a quote for repainting them. Thankfully the mouldy wood isn't rotten so it'll be an easier job and he adivsed once it was done, give the sills a lick of gloss once a year to prolong the time before it all needs redone.

Now for today's photo.

I'm taking part in a little photo scavenger hunt. We've been given 15 words and we have three days to get photos that we feel represent those words. When I saw these lying in the bin I knew this had to be my shot for "discarded". The other words we have are: reflection, communication, free, squashed, horizon, fish, circle, lost, natural, purple, old, fake, contradiction and light. I have ideas for some but are stumped for others. Any suggestions would be welcomed, especially for contradiction.

I think it'll really inspire my photography. Maybe once I'm done I'll get a list of 15 from you guys and try and blip 7 of them over a week.
