On Safari

I went on safari this morning to capture Brutus the Rhino at The Port shopping centre in Ellesmere Port. He cuts a fine figure and lives up to his name. They have given him a lovely sunset backdrop to make him feel at home.

Tamzin Harris the artist responsible for Brutus took her inspiration from Durer's 1515 woodcut of a rhino which he based on descriptions that he heard as he had never seen a rhino.

Of all the rhinos that I have photographed so far Brutus is my favourite.
