Cloud Watching

I spent the entire afternoon sitting on a hillside photographing clouds. This 8 minute exposure was one of my favorites from the day.

I also tried a whole series of 4 minute exposures, but they weren't as interesting. Later, I did a couple shorter exposures of the sky (fractions of a second as opposed to minutes) in a more time-lapse fashion. These were much better. I'll have to go back and do more.

I did enjoy how various friends came over to talk to me on their way back from class or on their way to the library. I felt a little weird checking my watch and pushing buttons on my camera every four minutes, but no one really seemed to mind.
