The last Night of our Honeymoon.
Did some shopping - new bag and shoes for Liz.
Then some more touristy things.
Over to San Giorgio Maggiore - stunning church and bell tower with fantasic views.
Then a lovely meal next to the canal followed by a walk back to the hotel.
We love this place.
It has so much to see - everywhere you turn there is something special, oosing with history.
Wandering alongside the canals or chugging along the water on the vaporetti - we feel so at ease even when there are lots of people around, and I HATE crowded situations.
There are no cars, lorries or busses.
Just boats.
The air is cleaner.
The water is NOT smelly!
We were here last year when it was 40 deg, and it was not smelly!
It was 12 - 15 deg this time, and it was still less smelly than Paris.
It is the most amazing place I have ever been, and I don't think this is just because I am in love!
We can't wait to get back again and see and do all the other things we did not have time for.
What a life.
What a honeymoon!
I am Very happy!
