Giving Laura a Send-off
Today started with bringing Carst to a boarding kennel before we boarded the fast ferry from Terschelling.
Took the train to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport where we met daughter Laura and son Robin.
They had to go the Hague first to pick up het visa at the Sri Lanka embassy.
Their travel was a bit weird; at Zwolle the conductor ordered them to buy other tickets because their tickets were meant to use after 09:00 hrs. When Robin came back he saw the train with Laura departing....
After all we all got together at Schiphol where Laura's baggage was too heavy..
So pots with daycream, perfume, sprays and other weird stuff had to be taken out...
Here's that moment.....
After all she's on her way to Sri Lanka for her traineeship at the Dutch Embassy.
She flies with Emirates airlines, which was low cost when she booked.
We rushed back to Terschelling.
Carst was glad to see us but not too glad; so his first acquaintance with a kennel was good.
