Waves

We like going to the sea in September because the water's still warm, the sun's still shining (30 degrees today) and most of the holidaymakers have gone. The sea was rough today at Portiragnes-plage, though (well, rough for the Mediterranean). Lo Jardinièr swam, but I just paddled. We had lunch in a cafe near this hotel - my favourite seaside meal, calamares à la romaine (squid rings with mayonnaise) with a glass of rosè, followed by a very good espresso coffee.
