The Quintessential Scottish Castle

Got up to a really nice morning, just enough breeze to keep the midges at bay, packed up and headed down to Eilean Donan Castle. Very nice and very full of tourists. Next time I'm up (October, I'll try and get a shot nearer dusk or dawn and from the other side.
