We had a brilliant day today, first letting kites fly off Teufelsberg, then at the Ökowerk, a nature/eco-place in the midst of the forest Grunewald (which is only like at 10 minutes from central Berlin, which is great), where they try to maintain wildlife at its best. We saw plenty frogs in ponds, snakes trying to catch frogs, bees making honey, and lovely flowers and herbs.

We then went for a nice walk round the lake Teufelssee, found a tipi made out of branches, lots of naked Germans going for a last swim and collected some acorns.

The kids then painted some tiles and we came home with the feeling that we had had a really good day.
