The last wasp of the season.
When I got home late last night, the last thing I expected to see was a wasp wandering about in the kitchen sink. I think it was on its last legs as it certainly didn't seem to have the energy to fly.
I rather gingerly picked it up and stuck it on the work-surface and proceeded to relentlessly blip it. I took about 20 shots, and when I looked at them today, I found they were all a bit out of focus as it had insisted on continuing to walk round in circles.
And the light was very low. However, although this shot is a little grainy and blurry, I really like it. Perhaps this is one for me rather than for you.
The wasp died last night before bedtime.
It never flew again.
