Uniform

This is possibly THE most dull blip ever, I have taken no photos today as I have been out of the house without the camera all day, so it was this or my dinnner, and really, as this is a journal it has to be this.

This is Freyas "special" shelf, its where her special things from her babyhood are kept, along with other crap she considers special ! tonight however, there is an addition, ready for the morning. school uniform, tomorrow I will dress my child in these clothes and she will begin her education officially.

She is excited sometimes and other times she has declared that she just wont go and she has already informed me she would rather i did not take her photo in the morning. I will though, I will give her 50p and she will let me :D

I dont care how *sad* this sounds, I am so very gutted this day has come, I will miss her so very much, someone said to me today to "let her go" I didnt have my children to "let them go" aged four ! let her grow and change yes, but not let go !

The baby shelf seems like it should have a declutter now, it feels like she has outgrown it, perhaps we will put away some of the things (the four pairs of soft baby shoes she never wore) and use the shelf for things she loves, not things I cannot bear to put away. Times are changing, the family baby is not a baby any more , That is hard hitting news, I turned my back for a second and she grew up a bit. Dont turn your back for a second is my advice !

Oh and i should point out the vest hanging up looking passed its best was given to her when she was born, by someone very special, it has all the oar colours of the Cambridge rowing teams on it, its not just a manky vest I like to hang up ! maybe its time that was put away too.

Good luck tomorrrow Freya ! A child that can say poo in 3 languages is going to go far ! I love you and I already cant wait for half term ! xxx
