Sweetheart Abbey

My parents are visiting for the weekend so we are out and about doing stuff you never do when you live here! Yesterday we went to Blackness Castle, just outside Edinburgh.

Today we came down to Sweetheart Abbey in Galloway. Despite the ravages of the Reformation, the Abbey is still an impressive building. We had a lot of fun spotting the faces high up, around the central tower.
