Heading North

Start of a four-day trip to Kinlochbervie and Cape Wrath. Cape Wrath is as far north west as you can go in Scotland without falling off the edge.

The trip was hatched in March, and I've had my fingers crossed for good weather ever since. This picture was taken on the road to Ullapool, north of Inverness. According to Googlemaps, Kinlochbervie is 3 hours drive north west of Inverness by the most direct route, which gives you an idea of how far north it is. we went via Ullapool and Lochinver for the fantastic scenery
