Crocodile

The morning dawned with rain, moved onto snow and hail (as we drove to Akaroa). After lunch it decided to slowly clear, followed by a brisk Southerly breeze. Fine camping weather ;-)

Regardless, the rest of the team arrived across and by late afternoon we had 3 tents, 1 pop top camper housing 7 adults and 8 kids under 5. Fortunately the sun also appeared so off to the beach we went, wine and children in tow. With adults sipping wine, we watched the kids demolish another childs handsome sand creations, a castle and a crocodile. I snapped this photo before it too (part of the crocodile) was demolished!

The kids then proceeded to de-robe and splash in the waves - mad and cold. Needless to say it was soon back to camp!
