um..saturday...yeah, i had it here somewhere.....

......i had a bit of a black and white day today. i discovered a whole load of new functions on my camera as i was sitting playing about with it in one of many cafes today. i went a bit mad on the scenic shots but i'm not to sure if they look any good or not. don't know if it's the actual angle or the subject matter or simply the B & W effect.
anyway this shot pretty much sums up today. as said we kinda bounced from one place to another. it was fun. i missed my wee yin like mad, and saying goodnight to her on the phone was hard. especially when she is telling me to come home now. hard, but it's nice to be missed.
now where was i? oh yeah cafes, well, this one is a blatant plug for the grasshopper. now this is quite a commercial place but i do like it. went to lots of others, a bit more out of the way but i have always liked this place, ever since my first trip to the dam. they also do quite a good cup of coffee and i got to reacquaint myself with mr. herrer
i was still in B&W mode at this point so i guess one of the many i took has made it through.
