And then there were 8
I've become quite keen on using the old 50mm lenses on my micro four thirds camera. I find these manual focus lenses rewarding to use and the results very pleasing.
While cleaning up my office I discovered that I had two of the identical lens. Just for fun I took a shot with each to see how they compared and was quite surprised at the difference. I emailed the results to a friend to hear what he thought.
He relied that I should set the camera up on a tripod ans hoot the two lenses and also to compare them to the other 50mm that he knows I have.
Good idea. I lined up all the 50's I could find, and got rather a surprise to find that I had 8 of them (one is 55mm).
While writing the blip however I realize that I missed five more prime lenses in the same same range all of which fit this same camera . So the heading really should be "and then there were 13".
Maybe a better title is "when a hobby becomes an addiction".
