The next day Scott woke up and started the search for some sign of Thomas. He looked long and hard, finally he saw something black in the grass in front of him. A closer look revealed it to be one of Thomas' shoes. Yes, finally a sign that he was on the right trail. He picked it up and started off, his spirit refreashed. He finally had some hope that he might just find Thomas after all.
