Rendezvous with a friend

Meet Jules (that's him on the left). I used to work with the guy a shade over 5 years ago, designing the mag he edited for. He left, worked for a film fanzine, was a contributing reviewer for that, managed to get his his first book published and eventually ended up back at our original place of employment as editor of something else.

He leaves for London in a couple of weeks to a new job and a new life with his lady. I'm both pleased as punch (for him) but also gutted beyond belief (for me, because I don't want to say farewell to the bugger). This photo was taken in the early hours of Friday morning after arriving home from a cheeriobuddyalefest.

We were leathered. And on a school night too.
