Upstairs dweller

We have upstairs dweller and downstairs dweller. Downstairs dwells my cat who never comes upstairs. Upstairs dwells next doors cat,who comes to us to sleep in an upturned basket lid. We have tried to deter upstairs dweller but to no avail. He's no harm and I can commiserate with him about the shouting that emminates from his home. For me it's the best of both worlds. Upstairs and downstairs I have a friend.
