Then there are these rides, when we seldom exceed 22 km/h. We look around for possibilities where the bike can take us, places without roads. Loads of discovery today, many startled looks and some fascinating dirt-tracks. Importantly, places with great potential for further exploration.

One of the more fascinating rides I've had in recent times. Hardly did I know what lay in store as I waited for my friend to arrive. Like I said yesterday, making the best of autumn while it lasts.
