I believe Northern has been keeping everyone up to date with the forecast. However - if you have a collie dog they still seem to want to go out - must be the advantage of four legs. And canine idiocy.

My face still tastes of salt from the spray and I am soaked. I couldn't get round the corner with the force of the spray and wind so had to turn back - thought I was going to have to keep travelling east (very fast) until I hit someone's house. Splat.

J wants to go and look at the Barriers to see if he can get to work yet. And to go 'ooooooh' at the waves.
