Bookshop Nudge Nudge Wink Wink.

End of an era, this. The New Town Bookshop has closed down.

For those of you not familiar with Edinburgh, this bookshop is situated in one of the more salubrious areas of the city.
For as long as I've lived here no-one could ever tell me, once and for all, if it actually was a bonafide bookshop or if, instead it sold 'gentlemen's literature'. The window display would usually incorporate approximately 6 faded paperbacks by third rate authors that would attempt to disguise what was really inside.
But no-one could verify my, and others', suspicions.
