An apple a day

This is a small selection of the bucketloads of apples a very kind friend gave us this week. In fact, were we to have an apple a day, we'd be eating them till Christmas. These are a cooking variety: it's going to be an autumn of apple pie, apple crumble, eve's pudding... Can't wait.
