Night Hawk
Bit of a bird theme going on here, completely unplanned and random, as usual.
This is a buzzard I've been trying to catch a decent picture of, for ages. This time it was perfectly perched on the chimney of this old ruin.
My stalking skills leave a bit to be desired - drive along the road until I see something and by the time I get my camera ready, it has usually run or flown away.
If I had more time I'd sneak out the car stealthily and slither through the grass on my belly, hunting beasties large and small to shoot and then eat for dinner, over an open fire.
Oh sorry... I'd shoot them with my camera and blip them. - I don't eat beasties... well, apart from coos, porks, shnurkeys and slippery fishes.
