Ali the hen

So, this is a good shot of our oldest hen - she's an ex-battery hen who has been living with us for very nearly 5 years. She originally had 3 fellow-hens and also was shacked up with Bert, our cockerel. Those other feathered friends have long-since clucked their last, and in August this year we bought a further 4 ex-bats to keep her company.
Those of you who have tried will know how difficult it is to take a good photo of a hen - they move so fast! So I was very pleased to get this snap of Ali. She's a good hen.
