Interesting ceiling art in the Queen's Arms.

...and so the places to eat jinx continues.

Met my sister after work for a few drinks then headed to Muang Thai for a nice meal only to find it's no longer there but has turned into a Tapas bar with a toothless auld wumman on the sign - not the most appetising advert.

Its a shame the restaurant has gone, it was one of the few good Thais in Edinburgh.

Disappointed, we headed back to the Queen's Arms for some nice fish and chips (though I'dve preferred a pile of good old mushy peas instead of an arsey smear of 'crushed peas!), while we watched the tail end of the news coverage of the Chilean Miners - compelling & heartwarming stuff.

We managed to finish a few bottles to add to the ceiling collection then headed for home, not too bad a night considering...
