Journey's end.
7 hours, 2 flights, one train journey and a taxi trip and I make it to my home for the next few days. This is part of the view from my hotel window and where I will be setting up an exhibition stand over the next day or so.
Can't say that London is a place I'm very fond of. Nothing wrong with the place. In fact, I'd happily spend the next few days visiting museums, galleries and the theatre (no such luck). Just that as cities go it's not my favourite. For some reason it doesn't grab me.
Although, I'm not a city person I do like visiting them in short doses. I love Paris and would go back to Venice at the drop of a hat. And if my only option was to live in a city, I would happily settle back into Edinburgh life. But I'm afraid even a few hours in London gets me down.
But I know a lot of other folk love the place. Which is fine, I'll make room for them.
