Discovery

Not the boat Scott used when he ballsed up the South Pole expedition. That was the Terra Nova. As a half-Scot, half-Norwegian - I'm fairly pleased with the result. Interestingly, the boat used by Amundsen was the Fram, designed by Colin Archer who was born and bred in Norway and whose parents were Scottish. Actually, not that interesting.

I've been to see the Fram as it is right next to where my dad grew up in Oslo. Also, the viking ships are just up the road, and the Kon Tiki is next door. It's great - you should go.
