WA Rowing Club boatshed

Hubby and I had a lunch date by the jetty at Barrack Street today, north of Swan River. From where we were seated, I took a snap of one of the oldest buildings in Perth, The Western Australia Rowing Club boatshed.

I was told that the W.A. Rowing Club began in 1868 and lies on the foreshore of the Swan River. It is West Australia's oldest rowing club and one of the oldest in Australia. The boatshed was built in 1905.

By the jetty, I also have taken snaps of this magnificent palm tree and its bark. I thought they're worth blipping!
