Money is safe again........

Those of you that have been following my ramblings will know that I lost my purse 3 weeks ago - its been nothing but hassle replacing cards etc.

But one of the things I was most upset about was that I also lost my 'lucky' jade monkey that was meant to protect my wealth, I was born in the year of the Monkey so always thought he was especially lucky.
(he kind of did - there was little cash in the purse & cards have all been cancelled before any strange transactions)

I got the monkey after 4 hour hike from the MTR station to the Giant Buddha on Lantau Island, Hong Kong a few years ago - it was a hard earned!

This morning I came into work & my Sis had arranged to have his replacement waiting for me - what a pleasant suprise :-)
(though I can't remember her popping off to do the hike...)
