Empty nest syndrome

The girls have left for a scouts weekend, so they are all packed and away...
Feels so strange as a mum though, not to give them a cuddle at bed time. The beds lay empty... but only until Tuesday!

Having no kids around meant we did loads of chores, incl. most of the shopping for our celebratory brunch next weekend.
It also means I will be able to do my first payed work as a photographer tomorrow. I will be on the road with Hopla tomorrow, visiting several stores of a Standaard book shop. Taking photos of kids with their TV and book character.
