Table Rock

We have two land formations in our valley that were made from lava - some 7 million years ago. Learning about the Native Americans in our area made me think about our table rocks and how to capture a bit of their essence. The Tables Rocks were a big part of the Shasta culture. This is a section of lower Table Rock. I love the yellow on the rocks and in the trees.

The colors in our valley are extraordinary this year and today we had 70 degree weather. Perfect.

This is a back blip due to my faith macbook is loaded with some 20,000 pictures and refused to carry any more of the burden. I spent the morning backing up.
