A magpie contemplates Gateshead

I really should have paid more attention to brickmaker's sensible advice yesterday, when he pointed out that in these days of diminishing daylight it's really best to get out and blipping at lunchtime. I forgot today and by the time I left the office in Gateshead it was already quite dark (not helped by the low cloud and persistent rain).

DaveH dished up some splendid pasta when I got home and then we trotted over the Links to catch up with M and S whom we haven't seen for far too long.

So eventually the only image I have with which to mark today was taken out of the office windows when I first arrived; a damp magpie on a lamp post overlooking a vacant lot and some of Gateshead in the distance.
