Ceramic Shadows

My blip for October 25th was the pieces that went together to build this sculpture. The clay was very wet when I assembled it, so I left it lying flat on some newspaper to dry. By last week?s lesson it had started to dry a bit too much & I ran out of time to add the detail, I didn't want it to be ruined so I bought it home to finish.

I then promptly forgot all about it until tonight when my next class is tomorrow!!

I don't often use flash as I find it too harsh, but I liked the effect of the shadows on this shot.
