White-breasted Nuthatch
This is a sweet little bird with a smaller cousin, the red-breasted nuthatch, whom we see during migration only. The white-breasted stays with us all year and we usually have a pair nesting in one of the birdhouses. This one has an oiler in his beak and is about to take off.
It is a late blip time for me and it's been a busy weekend with no time for commenting or viewing.
But it's now 6:00 pm, already dark (yes, time change last night) and I have some time for Blip.
Hope you all had a good weekend!
