Hiroshi

I finally have half decent bit of glass on the front of my camera. It's taken we way too long to get rid of the crappy kit lens. 2nd hand 17-70mm Sigma 2.8-4.5, feel the quality. The old kit lens feels like a plastic toy in comparison.

I've been very impatient to take some pictures so got it out in the lab today. I'd like to start trying taking people so thought i'd kind of make a start. This is Hiroshi, a Japanese PhD student who is working in our lab at the moment.
It's his first Ceilidh tonight. He's borrowing my kilt, so this is his favour to me.
