I Like My Toast Done On One Side*


One side would be nice. One side would do. My lovely toaster is not well, not well at all. Its started to burn the toast quite badly in parts, not toast at all in others. This is a bit of a problem for someone who could live off toast, and toast-based combos, until the end of time. There's not enough toast in this world for me, sadly a fact here at the moment.

I've had this golden machine for, I dont know, 25 years or so. My mum had it before that, not sure how long, and before that it was in an industrial kitchen. In dog years, it should be dead but ... I sent this photo off to Dualit today with a picture of the serial number and they've come back to tell me that the parts are available. They cost more than a 'normal' toaster would cost - or more than 5 'value' toasters - but I dont care. It would be worth it to have my toaster back.
