Roll in the Barrel

After the excitement of working at Fort George this week I headed down the A82 to Fort William, then on to Lochaline for a weekend of diving in the Sound of Mull.

North and East Scotland have had a lot of snow this last couple of days but the west was relatively clear - just snow on the hills.

As I was passing one of the Ben Nevis Distillery bonding stores I noticed 3 chaps rolling barrels, so stopped and asked if I could take a photo. They were very obliging, and told me about the store while I snapped away. Apparently one of these barrels is equivalent to 400 bottles of whisky . . . there were thousands of barrels in the store.

I very rarely take picture of people, but I really like this one.
