WHERE'S MY DAD?

The BIG question!

The last couple of months I've literally been begging Kade's dad to be in his sons life by email (he hasn't been near kade since kade was 1 - I threw him out in the 1st place for being a junky, womanizing, gambling loser). His dad claims to be off drugs now and has settled down with a new partner and his two daughters from previous relationships, so I thought if that's true, then I'd like him to be there for Kade as Kade still always asks for him. But his dad has decided that he has enough in his life with building relationships with his girls and his partners two children to have time for Kade.

So last night I had to sit my 5yr old son down and tell him he wont be seeing his dad as his dad has no time in his life for him (in the past I have just told him that I don't know where his dad is). Kade broke his heart, but I can't keep on letting him think his dad might turn up when it's just not going to happen, so I had to tell him that his just dad isn't interested.

The next 2 paragraphs are the last 2 emails that I received from him......



hi yeah have thought about it a lot, have a lot going on just now, would like to try and build a relationship with kade but can we try it in the new year...have just built up my relationship with taylor and terri again and that is still fragile but have not totally forgot about kade and its not so dont have to buy him xmas either just have loads goin on just now....

its scott please stop sending me emails as far as im concerned thats it dealt with your gettin your money from the csa.. i wnt no more contact with you anymore messages n iwill block u

(funnily enough the 1st bit he said 3 yrs ago before vanishing for 3 yrs)



As you can imagine Kade was very upset when I talked to him and you may think it a bit harsh to tell him his dad isn't interested, but I work with kids and am not daft enough to word it to Kade the way I have in this blip. But I can't let him have false hope when he will never actually see his dad.

The CSA are now involved and will be taking £52 a week off of Scott (though I will only get £24)... SO MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU SAD, EXCUSE OF A MAN - HOPE YOU MISS THE £50 - what I get will be going in a bank account for Kade, though he really would have preferred to have his DAD you sad S**T!!
